Originally named Blackdog Steelworks, the company was incorporated in 2007 and specialised in providing maintenance services to the sawmilling industry. With a strong demand for quality engineering maintenance suppliers across Northland, the business rapidly expanded into several other industrial markets and quickly established itself as the premier maintenance provider in the region. The business rebranded in 2018 as BDX Group and continues to be a market leader, now offering steel fabrication, industrial coatings, mechanical design and installation services.
